We represent first time buyers, second home buyers, experienced buyers, investors and developers. Whether you are buying a condominium, a single family home, a commercial space, a 2-flat, 3-flat, 4-flat, multi-use property or multi-unit apartment building we can assist you. Things you should know about buying:

  • Be prepared to do an inspection and/or Phase I of the property you are buying.
  • Be ready to shop for your mortgage with small banks, big banks or mortgage brokers.
  • Be particular about your real estate agent. Not only is everyone different but not everyone can please everyone. We recommend that a real estate agent be chosen not just based on their experience and skill but also based on their personality and how it melds with yours.

    Selling

    We represent first time sellers and the most experienced sellers. If you are selling your home to buy another we can handle both transactions for you at a discounted rate. If you are selling a commercial property and the business housed in it, we can handle that too. Things you should be prepared for when selling:

  • Be prepared to inform a prospective buyer about issues they may discover during their inspection.
  • Be prepared to negotiate price, credits and repairs if inspection issues arise.
  • Be prepared to set aside tax credits in an escrow for more than a year to ensure a more fair tax credit for both parties.
  • Be ready to dig out relevant papers: survey, deed, title policy, leases, rent rolls, building registration, zoning certificate, real estate tax bills.
